Begun in a garage studio near Moreton Bay Autumn ‘22 with ‘Islands in the Bay’ & 'Bayside’ recorded during catastrophic flooding.
All other songs recorded as momentary one-takes through Spring & Summer ‘22. Drawn from life traversing the Australian east coast living in a green 1989 Suzuki Super Carry van.
Utilising voice, miniature acoustic, sampling, field recordings, handmade & found percussion. Recorded through a cassette dictaphone with additional layering in a digital field recorder.
Compiled from 5 hours of tapes digitised Summer ‘22-’23 in a makeshift studio cat-sitting in Melbourne.
Mastered by Owen Penglis in Winter 2025.

The moon and curlew know
To the ocean we all go.
